July 13, 2007'Hello' from your state Legislature
Having a great time, weather's fine - but boy, you've gotta put some money behind that Real ID act.This is the gist of one of the 111 "postcards" that Arizona lawmakers wrote this year, exercising a prerogative that the Legislature has always held, but one that gets scant attention.
Maybe it's because the legislative missives to various groups have no teeth, simply the government equivalent of saying, "Wish you were here." Or maybe it's because they often don't mean much, other than to the sponsor.
