Tucson legislator debating Pat Buchanan on TV today

PHOENIX — A Tucson lawmaker will appear on national television this morning to debate Arizona's crackdown on illegal immigrants.

State Rep. Steve Farley, a Democrat, is scheduled to debate Republican commentator Pat Buchanan at 10:30 a.m. on MSNBC.

Farley, who represents Midtown Tucson, voted against an employer-sanctions measure last week, saying it will seriously hurt small businesses. He was recommended for the show by House Democratic leadership and suspects much of the discussion will focus on employer sanctions.
