City elections shaping up to be a big yawnfest

It isn't Ali-Frazier, USC-Notre Dame or even Rosie-Elizabeth.

It's two-term Republican Mayor Bob Walkup, with the backing of the business community, against a political novice and a hot dog vendor who works in front of a strip club.

Tucson won't witness, much less participate in, a vigorous and well-organized debate about the direction of city leadership.
